Wow, it's been a long time - again.
I haven't been on DA, or writing poetry very much either, because I have been very busy with dancing lately. Well, that's an understatement really. Dancing is my life. I eat, sleep and dance. And so all of my artistic inspiration has been going into choreography, and all of my energy has been going into working out and dancing.
I teach three group classes and two private classes a week (so far - I have my own home studio now, so I can have as many classes as I want), have rehearsals Monday through Thursday (they usually run 2 - 4 hours), am choreographing most of the material for my troupe (we're working up to 2 hours of material) and working on my solo stuff, dancing twice a month at Azars Greek Restaurant, AND working on my own freedancing and working out about two hours per day. I'm also training to audition for the Bellydance Superstars next April. Wish me luck!
So with all that, I generally dance a minimum of two hours per day, and as much as eight hours in one day. Where I get the energy, I don't know.
Aside from all that, I'm also trying to manage the mundane aspects of daily life. It's insane.
But I have managed to start a couple of poems, I'm just tweaking them before posting, so keep your eyes open.
